Mixtape // Thursday

Summer Signs from tinakrlstrm on 8tracks Radio.

This week we have Tina Karlstrom's mixtape for your listening pleasure. Tina's a London-based illustrator and designer, and recently wrote about her favourite ways to spend an afternoon in her homecity of Malmo, Sweden, as part of the Places feature on Emily's blog. Check it out!

Thanks for coming to our online shop launch party!

Thank you all so much for coming to our online shop launch. We had a blast! There were drinks, party food, mixtapes, and lots of fun things to buy!

The reception that we had was overwhelming. Thank you to to everyone who came along and to everyone who tweeted, facebooked, blogged, and told their friends about it. We hope you enjoyed it, and we satisfied your curiosity about what an online party is! It's a strange concept but we really wanted to include everyone so we came up with the idea of an online launch party to do just that. It was lots of fun and we enjoyed creating recipes, photgraphs, mixtapes, and all of the elements of a regular party but online.

Thanks for coming and see you at the Shipshape Studio shop again soon!

Party :: Get involved!

8 songs to smile to from ShipshapeStudio on 8tracks.

Every party needs good music and we want your help to make playlists for our online shop launch party!

All you need to do is create a playlist of 8 songs on 8tracks, upload your cover art, and send us the link!

There are a few rules:

• Each playlist must contain 8 songs, with no more than one track from a single artist or group.
• No swears or derrogatory language. We don't want any of that dutty talk here, thanks.
• Cover art must be your own imagery and cannot contain any copyrighted images.

You can make as many playlists as you like and a selection of them will play at our online launch party on Thursday 9th August! Once you're done, make sure your playlist is listed and leave the link to it in a comment below or tweet it to us at @shipshapestudio using the hashtag #shipshapeshop.

I've made a playlist of songs to smile to just incase you're needing a cheery musical interlude today. Listen above and see the track listing below.
